My Next Chapter: From Aesthetics Practitioner to Educator 🤍

Why I’ve Decided to Take the Next Step

As I continue to grow within the aesthetics industry, I’ve reached a point in my career where I feel ready to take my passion one step further.

I’m currently working towards completing my teaching qualification, with the goal of sharing my knowledge, clinical skills and personal experiences with other practitioners looking to develop and grow within the industry.

For me, becoming an educator is about so much more than teaching treatments. It’s about inspiring confidence, supporting professional development and helping others build successful careers in aesthetics.

One of my biggest motivations is my passion for raising standards and promoting safer practice within the aesthetics industry.

I strongly believe that being a good injector isn’t simply about knowing how to perform a treatment. It’s about understanding anatomy, patient safety, potential complications and the clinical reasoning behind every decision.

My ambition is to help develop knowledgeable, confident and responsible practitioners who prioritise patient safety above everything else.

Where My Journey Began

My career in healthcare began in dentistry, where I spent six years working as a dental nurse.

Although I loved caring for patients, I eventually realised I wanted more from my career. I wanted to be more hands-on, develop the skills to create individualised treatment plans and make clinical judgements within my scope of practice, whilst helping people overcome insecurities and feel more confident in themselves.

Having always had a passion for healthcare and self-care, aesthetics felt like a natural progression.

In 2021, I decided to take the plunge and completed my first aesthetics training course in London, and I haven’t looked back since.

From there, I’ve continued to invest in my education, develop my clinical skills and grow both personally and professionally.

Like any journey, it hasn’t always been straightforward. There have been challenges, lessons learned and experiences, both good and bad, that have shaped the practitioner I am today and helped me grow.

Sharing My Knowledge & Experiences

Now, I feel ready to use everything I’ve learned to help others navigate their own journeys within aesthetics.

I want to share not only my clinical knowledge but also the realities of building a career as a self-employed practitioner, including the challenges, achievements and lessons I’ve experienced along the way.

My goal is to create a supportive learning environment where practitioners feel encouraged to ask questions, build confidence and continue developing their skills.

I believe knowledge is something to be shared, not kept to yourself. By supporting and educating one another, we can help raise standards and create a safer, more professional aesthetics community.

An Exciting New Chapter

Completing my teaching qualification is another exciting step in my own professional development, and one I’m incredibly passionate about.

From starting my career in dentistry to becoming a self-employed aesthetics practitioner, every experience has led me to this next chapter.

My ambition is simple: to inspire, educate and support other practitioners in building successful careers, whilst always promoting safe, ethical and responsible aesthetics.

I’m so excited to see where this next chapter takes me and hopefully play a part in helping others grow and succeed in an industry I love. 🤍
